This indie horror comedy features hand-to-hand combat, gun violence, dramatic tears, grotesque deaths, and gallons of blood. Premiering in the fall of 2023.

This outdoor production during the summer of 2020 featured socially-distant staging, 6-foot-wide noodle hats, and the occasional comedic mask reveal.

I took on the role of show captain for this sexy vampire rock revue. We kicked our faces, screlted Mötley Crüe, and maybe drew a little blood along the way.

Under the direction of Melissa Zaremba,

we turned a short script dominated by music into a hilarious account of four sisters working together to create the perfect 1950s Christmas special.

After each show, the cast sat on stage and answered questions from children in the audience. Sometimes silly and sometimes serious, we opened up an important conversation about loving one another no matter what we look like.

Urleen and I shared the role of dance captain, rotating 80 children in 4 different casts in and out of the show each week. 

In the shortest quick change of my life, Babette transformed into a napkin to finish out Act I as the twelfth and final member of the kickline in Be Our Guest.

The Barrio Dance Factory is a crew that performs hip hop and similar styles at regional competitions and community performances, such as the World of Dance competition in Chicago.

This production was the most collaborative acting experience of my career. Together we morphed a series of Biblical parables into a show that was part playground, part rock concert, and part heartbreaking drama.

Junie B. was a fun challenge in bringing a beloved literary character to life on the stage. She's spunky and energetic and a role I'd love to tackle again.

It's easy to write off Hairspray as just a fun musical. Before opening night, I reminded our cast how important and difficult it is to put on a show with generations of emotion and trauma behind it. Here's hoping that soon, we'll no longer need to tell this story.
